In a normal lifetime, it is not unusual for a man to experience some kind of prostate problem.  It may be an inflammation or infection as a younger man, or benign enlargement of the gland (known as BPH) as one grows older.  There is also the possibility.........for one in 10 men over the age of 50.......of cancer. 

Increased public awareness and medical research of both benign and malignant prostate disorders has generated an enormous amount of information to consider. 
Our staff counsels and informs patients on: 

*Signs/Symptoms of prostate disease 
*Need for screening for prostate disease 
*Types of treatment of benign prostatic disease (BPH) 
*Types of treatment for prostate cancer 
 

In addition, we hold a monthly Support Group for prostate cancer patients and their families. 

We have an extensive patient education library (including books and videos which may be borrowed) containing information on prostate disease.
